Jim and John Harbaugh Share Laughs at NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS -- The most entertaining moment of the morning was when Harbaugh was asked what advice he has given to his younger brother, Jim, now that he is an NFL head coach with the San Francisco 49ers. Jim Harbaugh happened to be sitting at a table nearby and someone pointed that out to John as he stood at the podium.

He spotted his brother and asked him to answer the question and when Jim didn't say anything John said, "See, Jim can't think of a thing. That's your answer right there."

Laughter ensued and John talked about how the two grew up together and shared the same room and used to draw a line down the middle and start a little fight. But those were few and far between.

"I think we get along really well and I have tremendous respect for him," John Harbaugh said. "He doesn't really need any advice I don't think. He's a proven head football coach. I think he did something at Stanford that's unprecedented in the history of college football."

As far as what he might have learned from his younger brother, John joked that he tried to learn how to throw a football but that Jim must have kept that a secret because he had a 15-year NFL career and John can't throw it more than 30 yards. The love between the two was clearly evident and interesting to see.
