Red Claws Draft Magnum Rolle, Steal of the D-League Draft

Magnum RolleSomeone was going to steal him, it was just a question of who. Turns out it was Maine Red Claws GM Jon Jennings, who boasts one of the smartest front office crews, that's who. The Red Claws selected Magnum Rolle with the third overall pick in the 2010 NBA D-League draft.

Rolle was selected 51st overall in June's NBA Draft by the Pacers. After a stellar Summer League, the 6-11 Rolle became a fan favorite but didn't quite make the cut. He should be considered one of the top call-up prospects with an excellent combination of size, range, and athleticism. How athletic, you ask? Ask Terrence Williams.
