If you happened to catch the debut of "24/7
Penguins/Capitals" on HBO Wednesday night
you were treated to a wonderful behind the scenes glimpse of how two
NHL teams operate on a daily basis during the regular season. You also saw
Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau unleash a non-stop tirade of profanities at his team in the midst of their current seven-game losing streak, including a one-minute stretch during a recent loss to the
Florida Panthers where he used 15 F-bombs between periods.
It's the type of access fans never get to see: what is said in the locker room in the middle of a game, and just how passionate and fiery these players and coaches are.
Naturally, there's going to be somebody out there that frowns upon the R-rated language. One person that isn't thrilled with Boudreau's choice of words? His mother.
Said Boudreau on Thursday,
via the Associated Press, "My mom already called me about how many (swear words) I used."
