This was the scene in January 2010, when players from Vityaz Chekhov initiated a brawl with members of Kontinental Hockey League rival Avangard Omsk.Both clubs were fined by the KHL as a result of this fight, and the league warned Vityaz that they could face expulsion from the league if they ever did something like this again.
Over the weekend, the two clubs met again, and it took just six seconds before all you-know-what broke loose.
Just like the first time around, players for Vityaz were clearly the instigators, but the KHL decided not to follow through on their initial threat.
